Boating Liability Liability is much like any other liability coverage, it covers you for any suit brought against you by any person(s) who is injured by your boat.  The person(s) can be anyone on your boat, on another boat, in the water, etc.  Liability protection would cover the owner and any listed drivers.  HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER LIABILITY CAUSED BY A BOAT UNLESS YOU SPECIFICALLY ATTACH BOAT LIABILITY TO YOUR HOMEOWNERS POLICY!!!
