Bill of Sale form
The following example can be used when selling a vehicle. You will also need to sign the back of the title over to the person buying the vehicle. Include on the title the odometer reading and date sold. If the vehicle has active license plates on it please remember to take those off before letting the buyer drive away!! Otherwise you are providing the insurance for the car. The purchaser will need their own license plates to drive away without getting a ticket.
