Substitute Transportation is optional but may be a good idea. If you are involved in an accident, or your vehicle is stolen, you may need to rent an automobile. Substitute Transportation covers the cost to rent a vehicle while repairs are done to your auto or while it is stolen.  Although, if a stolen vehicle is recovered, the rental coverage is suspended immediately, even if it takes two weeks to repair your vehicle.
