DAMAGE COVERAGE: ( Part IV)
Damage to Someone Else's Property refers to damaging Massachusetts vehicles,
out of state vehicles, and non-vehicle objects such as fences, trees, stone walls, etc.
regardless of the state they or you are in.
The liability coverage of the personal Auto
policy provides protection against legal liability arising out of the
ownership, maintenance, or use of any automobile. The insuring agreement
agrees to pay damages for bodily injury or property damage for which the
insured is legally responsible for because of an automobile. The insuring
agreement also states that in addition to the payment of damages for which
the insured is legally liable for, the insurer also agrees to defend the
insured for all legal defense cost. The defense cost is in addition to the
policy limits. |
